Born in Barcelona in 1992.
I consider myself a curious person who always wants to keep learning. My students are my greatest source of knowledge and inspiration, as they bring my teaching profession to life.
I am captivated by the feeling of freedom that comes with traveling by bicycle and how its slow pace brings you closer to the people you meet along the way. My bike has accompanied me to different countries around the world and, while pedaling, I have come to understand that the true journey lies in the journey itself, not in the destination.
Like in the Ithaka portrayed by Kavafis,
“May there be many summer mornings”
Born in Andorra la Vella in 1985.
I am an adventurer and always looking for new challenges. My camera accompanies me and helps me to get to know the world we live in. Since I discovered the bicycle as a means of travel, I have not stopped seeking new adventures. On my bike, I have traveled the Carretera Austral (Chile), the coast of Portugal, Switzerland, and the Scottish Highlands.
I have been dreaming of this project since I collaborated with Kings and Queens of Kibera in Kenya.
“Those who dream live better”
The objective of KARABAN is to pedal in a bicycle caravan from Andorra to Kenya. A solidarity caravan of 12,000km for a good cause.
The caravan is formed by a group of people who travel with everything they need on their bicycles with panniers, equipped for this type of travel. We want it to be a sustainable journey and that is why it is carried out by bicycle, a vehicle that leaves no trace.
The group that forms the caravan will change as the journey progresses, as it is an open journey for anyone who wants to join. There have been many great bicycle journeys, and there are people who have even circumnavigated the world with this means of transport. The originality of this project lies in cycling as a caravan.
The caravan is intended to be diverse and made up of travelers of different nationalities. Each person can pedal the distance they desire. The only requirement is that they identify with the project and that we pedal together for the cause.
Traveling by bicycle entails constant challenges and adventures. It is an effortful journey in which we will face risks and adversities as a group with the goal of sharing, overcoming, and achieving the solidarity objective.
The main intention of this adventure is to support and contribute funds to the non-profit organization Kings and Queens of Kibera, as well as to the community that lives in these marginal neighborhoods. That is why the ultimate goal is to reach Kibera, a suburb of Nairobi and one of the largest in Africa.
Through this project, we aim to collect funds for Kings and Queens of Kibera by collaborating with both individuals and companies. Individuals can support us through donations or by signing up to pedal with the caravan. Companies can also collaborate through monetary or material donations or by sponsoring kilometers of the journey.
