Kings and Queens of Kibera is located in Kibera, on the outskirts of Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. Kibera is one of the largest slums in Africa, with over a million people living metal shacks within a perimeter of 2.5 km².

It is a non-profit organization that helps children living on the streets of Kibera. They are offered a home and the possibility of accessing school, as well as support throughout their school years. Education is provided as a tool for a future with greater opportunities.

The organisation’s main objective is to meet the basic needs of the children, ensuring stability in their childhood and providing them with a dignified education for a more promising future.

Mail goals of the organisation:

  1. Providing a home where boys and girls live in a community
  2. Offering a space for recreation and study
  3. Official education in state schools
  4. School supplies and uniforms
  5. Personal and human development
  6. Balanced nutrition and healthcare assistance

Additionally, the organisation works in collaboration with the local community, aiming to extend its impact throughout Kibera. Karaban’s goal is to pedal for Kings & Queens of Kibera and the Kibera slum settlement.

We aim to cover over 10,000 km on the charity cycling tour to collaborate and support the ongoing work of this organisation. To learn more about Kings and Queens of Kibera, visit:
